Four AcuSense G2H Bullet cameras for a single-storey property, office, or shopfront where you want intelligent alerts on people and vehicles, not animals and leaves — bullet-form for longer-throw perimeter shots.

Built for

  • Driveways, side gates, rear lanes — the bullet form factor gives you a longer-throw lens line and a visible camera body that doubles as a deterrent.
  • Warehouses, equipment compounds, motor yards — you need to know about people on the perimeter at 2 am, not about possums on the loading dock.
  • Offices, medical and dental clinics, legal and accounting practices — staff get alert-fatigued by every leaf in the wind, then stop checking notifications when something real happens.
  • Customers who want the latest Hikvision G2H Pro Series and the headroom to install whatever HDD suits their retention needs (BYO drive — see HDD recommendations below).

AcuSense — what it actually does

Cheap motion-detection treats every pixel change as a potential intrusion: wind, weather, headlights, animals, all of it. AcuSense runs an on-camera deep-learning model that classifies humans and vehicles vs everything else. Hikvision claims up to 95% false-alarm reduction. Practical effect: your phone stops crying wolf, so when it does alert you, you actually look. AcuSense also drives smarter NVR-side search — you can scrub 24 hours of footage filtered to "vehicles only" in seconds.

What's in the box, and why each piece is there

  • 4 × Hikvision DS-2CD2T66G2H-2I 6MP AcuSense G2H Bullet cameras — 3200×1800 resolution at 30 fps, 60 m IR night vision (extended bullet range), AcuSense on-camera human/vehicle AI, IP67, 2.8 mm fixed lens, 114.8° horizontal FOV, H.265+, dust- and weather-sealed for outdoor mounting.
  • 1 × Hikvision DS-7608NI-M2/8P 8-channel Ultra-series NVR — 8 PoE ports built-in, 128 Mbps bandwidth, 2× SATA bays for BYO HDD up to 16 TB each (32 TB total), AcuSense-aware features, HDMI 4K + VGA output.
  • 4 × camera mounting hardware kits + quick-start guide

BYO HDD — what to buy

This bundle ships without an HDD because customers in this segment usually want to pick their own. Default recommendation for a 4-camera system: WD Purple 2 TB (WD23PURZ) — surveillance-grade firmware, ~14-21 days continuous retention at typical bitrate. Step up to 4 TB if you want longer retention or 24/7 high-bitrate recording: Hikvision-branded Seagate SkyHawk 4 TB (ST4000VX016-HIK) — ~28-42 days continuous, Hikvision-tested for the ecosystem. Premium alternative for AI-heavy workloads or longer retention: Seagate SkyHawk AI 8 TB (ST8000VE001) — AI-tuned firmware suits AcuSense workloads. Add your choice from the recommended HDD section below the buy button.

Why this size and not the next one up/down

4-cam vs 6-cam: the 6-cam kit gives you two more lines of sight and uses the same 8-channel NVR — so the two extra cameras cost less each in the bundle than they do if you buy them individually later. If you have any chance of needing 6+ cameras in the next year, size up now.

Why bullet and not turret

Bullet cameras have a visible barrel that acts as a deterrent — if you want intruders to see the camera and choose another target, bullet is the form factor. Bullets also handle longer-throw shots better (driveways, rear lanes). Turret is the choice if you want a discreet camera or are mounting in an under-eave position where the bullet barrel would catch debris or sun. Both use identical AcuSense AI on identical sensors — the choice is mounting and aesthetics, not performance.

You'll need to supply

  • Surveillance-grade HDD — see HDD section above. Default recommendation: WD Purple 2TB.
  • Cat6 ethernet from NVR to each camera — we stock the Hikvision Cat6 305m spool (DS-1LN6UZC0-BLUE) and Hikvision Cat6 RJ45 100-pack (DS-1M6UA-30U-100). One spool covers most 4-cam installs.
