Ajax Transmitter

Transmitter brings a single third-party wired device into an Ajax system. Connect an infrared barrier, liquid level detector, gas leak detector, keypad, panic button or anything else with an NC or NO contact, and its alarms appear in the Ajax app like any native device. It is the straightforward way to keep specialist equipment when the panel is replaced.

The module reads the contact over its terminals and relays events to the hub on the Jeweller radio protocol at ranges to 1,600 metres line of sight, with AES encryption and two-way communication. It reports the right event type — intrusion, fire, auxiliary, panic, gas, malfunction or leakage — so the hub notifies users and the monitoring company accurately. Three CR123A batteries run it for up to five years, and a 3.3 V DC output can power the connected device.
