The Ajax NVR H2D8PAC is a 16-channel network video recorder for homes, trade sites and commercial installations running Ajax and third-party ONVIF cameras. Eight built-in PoE ports power and connect cameras over one cable each, which cuts the cabling and the switch you would otherwise need. Two hot-swappable drive bays keep the footage on site and let you change a disk without shutting the recorder down.
A 4K HDMI output drives a local monitor for live view and playback, while H.264 and H.265 (HEVC) recording keeps file sizes down over long retention periods. ONVIF Profile S conformance and RTSP support bring third-party cameras onto the same recorder, and Redundancy and Split recording modes decide how footage is written across the two drives. The Ajax mobile and desktop apps handle the video wall, archive and settings remotely, and the white chassis matches the rest of an Ajax install.
