Ajax MultiTransmitter Input Expander — White

MultiTransmitter brings an existing wired alarm into an Ajax system without pulling the old detectors out. It takes up to 18 third-party wired devices and reports each one to the hub as its own zone. This is the practical upgrade path for a site with serviceable wiring but a panel past its useful life.

Each zone can be configured as NO, NC, EOL, 2EOL or 3EOL, and three separate power lines feed connected fire and intrusion detectors at 12 V DC up to 1 A per zone. Wired runs reach 400 m and the Jeweller link back to the hub reaches 2,000 m in open ground with AES-encrypted TDMA traffic. Mains powered at 100–240 V AC, it accepts a 12 V DC backup battery for up to four days of standby. The white enclosure carries two tampers covering removal and opening.
