Superior MotionProtect Fibra is a wired motion sensor motion detector covering rooms up to 12 metres deep. It is built for installations that need the detector on a bus rather than a battery, and where false alarms cost call-outs.

An Excelitas pyroelectric sensor behind a Fresnel lens feeds the SmartDetect algorithm, which filters out heat sources that are not people, while temperature compensation keeps detection consistent in hot and cold rooms. Pet immunity covers animals up to 20 kg and below 50 cm in height, and sensitivity is adjustable from low to high. The white detector runs on the Fibra line up to 2,000 metres from the hub over U/UTP cat.5 cable, drawing no more than 0.045 W.
