Ajax ManualCallPoint (Red) Jeweller lets anyone raise the fire alarm by hand. Press it and the built-in sirens in every Ajax fire detector on the system sound, users are notified in the app and the central monitoring station is alerted so emergency services can be called. It is the wireless, addressable call point for corridors, exits and plant rooms.
Because it runs on Jeweller radio there is no cabling to pull, and the battery lasts up to seven years with a hub range of up to 1,700 metres. A transparent front lid prevents knocks setting it off, the mechanism is rated for more than 500 presses, and it resets with the supplied key instead of a replaceable glass element. The device is EN 54-25 certified and mounts on a SmartBracket panel with tamper alarm.
