Ajax LineSplit Fibra

Superior LineSplit Fibra takes one Fibra line and splits it into four, which is what makes a retrofit onto existing cabling practical. Install it anywhere along the line — including after another LineSplit — and run each new branch out to 2,000 m. It is aimed at installers replacing an ageing wired system without pulling new cable through a finished building.

Each of the four outputs carries the full Fibra protocol with block encryption and device authentication, and a digital short circuit algorithm isolates a fault rather than dropping the whole line. Up to ten modules can be cascaded one after another. Peak power draw is 0.022 W, and a pre-installed jumper activates the termination resistor when the module sits at the end of a line. The module mounts into an Ajax Case, sold separately.
