Superior LineProtect Fibra guards the devices on a Fibra line against electrical sabotage. If someone attacks a wired device — a stun gun on a Superior StreetSiren Fibra, for example — LineProtect takes the hit instead of the hub and the detectors behind it.
The module watches input and output voltage continuously and blows its fuses to cut power the moment abnormal voltage appears, covering short circuits, overvoltage and stun gun attacks. It carries the Fibra line up to 2,000 m, uses block encryption with a dynamic key and device authentication against spoofing, and draws up to 0.17 W. It installs into an Ajax Case, sold separately, which also provides the tamper connection.
