KeyPad is the wireless arming point for an Ajax system, mounted inside near the entry door so the household or staff can set and unset security on the way past. A numeric code arms or disarms the system and the indication shows the current security mode at a glance. The white finish blends into painted internal walls.

It talks to the hub over the Jeweller radio protocol with encryption, at ranges up to 1700 m in open ground, and reports in every 12 seconds so a lost link or jamming attempt is picked up quickly. The pre-installed battery runs up to two years, and the SmartBracket mount means installation and battery access need no disassembly of the device.
