The Ajax Hood is a protective cover for the MotionProtect Outdoor detector, shielding the anti-masking system from rain and snow. Without it, water running down the face of the detector or snow settling on the masking sensors can produce alarms nobody wants at 3am. Worth fitting on any exposed elevation.

It fits over the installed detector, so there is no need to dismount the unit or reconfigure anything after the job. All the mounting components needed are supplied in the box, which makes it a five-minute addition on a service call.
