Superior GlassProtect Fibra listens for breaking glass across a room and reports it over the Fibra bus. It is built for sites that specify wired detection — retail frontages, offices and homes with large glazed areas where a false alarm costs a call-out. The white matte enclosure sits discreetly on a wall or ceiling.
The DualTone digital algorithm requires two events in sequence before it alarms: the low-frequency thud of an impact, then the high-frequency crash of glass falling, both within 1.5 seconds. That two-stage test filters out barking dogs, traffic and water splashing. It covers up to 9 m across a 180° arc, draws as little as 0.036 W from the Fibra line, and reaches up to 2,000 m from the hub or a Fibra line extender.
