Ajax FireProtect 2 SB (Heat/Smoke/CO) Detector — Black

FireProtect 2 SB watches for smoke, heat and carbon monoxide in a single wireless detector, so one device covers the three ways a fire announces itself. It is built for homes and small sites where nuisance alarms from cooking or dust are not acceptable.

A dual-spectrum optical sensor, two thermistors and a chemical CO cell feed the HazeFlow 2 algorithm, which separates a real fire from steam and dust, and the smoke chamber is sealed against dust and insects. This SB version runs on a sealed lithium battery rated for up to 10 years, with a warning 30 days before it goes flat. On alarm the 85 dB siren sounds, every other detector on the hub follows within 20 seconds, and the Ajax app pushes a notification. The black casing mounts on a SmartBracket that rotates through 90°.
