Ajax FireProtect 2 AC 240V (Heat/Smoke) — White

FireProtect 2 AC (Heat/Smoke) Jeweller is a mains-powered wireless fire detector for homes and apartments, combining a smoke sensor and heat sensors in one white unit. It runs on 110–240 V AC with a sealed backup battery, so it keeps working through a power failure.

A dual-spectrum optical sensor with blue and infrared LEDs tells smoke from steam, and two thermistors react to the fast temperature rise that burning synthetics produce — the HazeFlow 2 algorithm decides when that is a real fire. The smoke chamber is dustproof and sealed against insects, so it does not need routine cleaning. Detectors interconnect through an Ajax hub in 20 seconds, or directly detector to detector in under a minute if the hub is unavailable, and the 85 dB built-in siren sounds on every linked unit.
