Ajax FireProtect 2 AC 240V (Heat/Smoke/CO) — Black

Ajax FireProtect 2 AC is a mains-powered fire detector that watches for heat, smoke and carbon monoxide in one unit. It is built for homes where a single detector has to cover the full range of fire risks rather than just one. This is the black version.

A dual-spectrum optical chamber tells smoke apart from steam, two class A1R thermistors react to the fast heat rise of burning synthetic materials, and a chemical sensor raises the alarm on carbon monoxide before the concentration becomes threatening. The smoke chamber needs no regular cleaning, and detectors interconnect so one alarm sounds them all - in 20 seconds through the hub, or under a minute detector-to-detector if the hub is unavailable.
