Ajax DoubleButton is a wireless hold-up device for raising a silent duress alarm from a counter, a desk or a pocket. Both buttons have to be pressed at the same time, which is what keeps it from firing in a handbag or under a jacket. Supplied in black.
A plastic barrier separates two stiff buttons, and the body is rated to IP55 and built for thousands of presses in heat, cold and dust. Alarms travel to the hub on the Jeweller radio protocol — encrypted, authenticated and good for up to 1300 m in open space — and a green LED confirms the alarm was delivered. Press sequences can be configured so a confirmed alarm requires a deliberate action.
