Superior DoorProtect Plus Fibra is a wired door sensor with shock and tilt sensing for doors, windows, skylights and vaults. It reports an opening, a blow to the frame or glass, and a change in angle, so a window left in airing mode is still covered.
Two reed switches handle opening detection with protection against chattering, while a built-in accelerometer covers shock across three sensitivity levels and tilt across a configurable 5 to 25 degree range. The detector sits on the Fibra bus, taking power and communications from the line over U/UTP cat.5 cable at up to 2,000 m, and responds to an alarm in 0.15 seconds.
